The Federal Republic of Cossack Peoples (FRCP) is a large country situated in the northern hemisphere of Lazarus. It has nearly 20,000 kilometers of border, with two neighbors to the west, three neighbors to the east, and a seventh neighbor surrounded by Cossack borders directly along the southern coast. The FRCP has an area of nearly 9,073,253 square kilometers, making it one of the largest Nations in Lazarus. Despite this, the Federal Republic's shape fits the country conveniently into two time zones, Cossack Eastern Standard Time Zone (CESTZ) and Cossack Western Standard Time Zone (CWSTZ). As of October 2020, the FRCP has a population of 2,246,340,000 People who are concentrated in the southern half of the country in mainly the Central, Southern, and Western Districts in cities like Maksima, Korf, Nova Basan, and Harsk. The FRCP has the Andruchshenko Sea to its north, Chernava Bay to its south, and the large Vernyhora Sea to its east, though the name for the body of water is in dispute.

The Government is self-described as a semi-presidential republic, with a Principle Chairman as Head of State, and Premier as Head of Government as well as intermediary between the Principle Chairman and the 155-seat Cossack National Assembly. However, the Government has a long-standing reputation for corruption, and political violence is frequent.
