The Arab Republic of Bhanam is a Republic in Lazarus. It is bordered on the east by FRCP and to the north by New Vedan. Bhanam covers 4,173,700.92 square kilometres and has an estimated population of 1.373 Billion People. Bhanam comprises of 15 Provinces. Its Capital is Al Allan, a very historical city known for it's astonishing landmarks. Other major cities are Damam, Lasy, Olaya, and it's largest city, Darme.

Bhanamian citizens are required to learn Arabic but around 70% of the population knows or understands English, this is extremely true in big cities, which have a better literacy rate as well as better Education.

Bhanam is an official member and participant in the World Assembly, it is stricly required that goverment officials vote on resolutions. This is because the Bhanamian goverment takes their freedom very seriously as the People of Bhanam were opressed harshly during their colonial times.

    Etymology(top)

    (top)

    The Bhanamian Civil War (top)

The Bhanamian Civil War took place when rebel terrorist groups who opposed the President in the country managed to take the city of Olaya as well as hundreds of towns across Bhanam. Bhanamian forces quickly retaliated and took back half of the city. Deadly fighting took place but eventually, after foreign intervention the rebels were finally defeated after a long, bloody war. Some People in Bhanam still feel sympathy towards the rebels creating unrest in small towns in Bhanam.

    Agricultural Age(top)

Around 20 years after independence, Bhanam was experiencing it's first agricultural age in which the Bhanamian goverment began starting to introduce farms all over the rural area of Bhanam.

    Bhanamian Revolution (top)

The Bhanamian Revolution began when the average cost of food started to skyrocket after sanctions were imposed on Akaria which was the empire that occupied Bhanam, this was the last straw for the Bhanamian people and mass protests and demonstrations broke out, Akaria sent in large Military forces but it was no use as they used guerrilla tactics. The Akarians gave the Bhanamians independence and ever since Bhanam has become one of the richest countries in Lazarus.
