Aquaria, known as the Socialist Federal Republic of the Aquaria, is a Federal-State located at the Jorati Continent. The Aquaria is a federal nation, with Socialist Republics of Yukihira, Misaki, Kurumi, Gulagiria, Itadori, Levingrad, Emiya, and Hestia.

Aquaria is the name of the whole region. In ancient times, rumours said that some travellers has found and met the goddess of Aqua, in the area of the now Aquarius Bay. People started to call the region Aquaria, meaning the land of Aqua the goddess, where the regimes of there in the future also call it Aquaria.

Pre-History

There are human activities reported in the stone age, in about the area of the Aquarius Bay nowadays. Spear, metal Weapons and pickaxe has been found, showing the high wisdom of the Ancient Aqua People. In the 10th century, the Aquaria was colonized by the Britania Empire, for the sake of being a port for them.

Middle Ages

In 1581, Diego Brando, known as Diego I, declared independence from Britania, building the regime of the Kingdom of Aquaria, with the support of various neighbour empires. Under the Brando Regime, Aquaria has received great economic growth, becoming one of the powers in the world, but there are generally no Human Rights at all, with slaves existing and no political freedom at all.

Decline of the Kingdom and the Revolution

During the late 19th century, Aquaria has declined, being invaded by those neighbour Nations. Under the failed leadership of Diego XXIII, the situation has changed into 0.1% capitalists holding the 99% of the money, while workers are suppressed. The Soviet Worker Union has quickly grown secretly.

On 19th January 1943, the workers have started to protest for their worker rights, which is even worsened during the fascist rule by king Diego XXIII and Prime Minister Enrico Pucci. During the Covid-19, the federation of Aquaria has received mediocre damage, while the vaccination rate was very low. On 13 January 2022, the federal Government has announced the adoption of a forced vaccination programme, which sentences everyone who refuses to take the vaccine without appropriate reason to death legally.

According to the constitution of the Socialist Federal Republic of the Aquaria, the Federal Government's leader is the President of the nation. Only two People have held the presidency in the republic's 79-year History. Kakashi Hatake, who is considered the father of the nation, has been in the power for 57 years, till his death in office in 2000. After his death, Naruto Uzumaki, the vice general secretary of the Aquarian Communist Party, took the position of acting president and won the 15th parliament election of the Aquaria, which officially make him the president even as of now.

Parliament

Although having a democratic parliament in name, the federal council was almost fully controlled by the leftists, including the Aquarian Communist Party, the Socialist Democratic Party, and the Democratic Labour Union. The communist party has been always having at least half of the seats in the council, by legal and fair Elections. Rightist party are considered unwelcome by the people. The Government officially bans the existence of nationalist and fascist movements in the territory, sentencing the members to death. The largest far-right party, which is the National Socialist Party, was banned by the government in 2004 and all of the party members are shot to death.

The federal council holds Elections every 4 years. The leader of the biggest party elected will automatically become the president of the republic. The president can be re-elected infinite times, which is the main reason why there are only two presidents ever elected in 79 years of the republic's History.

Military

Arms Manufacturing is the second largest industry of the Aquaria. The government also spends 15% of its budget on national defence. Aquaria adopts a compulsory Military serving policy, which forces every 25-years-old citizen to serve at least half of a year in the Military.
As of now, the Aquaria has about 2 million soldiers serving in the Aquaria's People Army Force. The Aqua People's Marine Force is the strongest type of military of the Aquaria, while Aquaria owns a high amount of warship and aircraft carriers, which quality are described as splendid, including the Kakashi, which is named after the former president. Other than that, the Air Force is also powerful, where the 5th generation of fighters are serving as the main type of aircraft. Famous fighters are the Aqua-VI and the Aqua Re-XII. The Army part is the part where the government is trying to improve, yet still powerful enough to overwhelm most of the nations in the world. In the 1978 Joratian War, Aquaria has defeated the Gulagirian Empire within 27 days, annexing the nation into a federal part.

Language

The language spoken is mainly English, while Deutsch, Spanish and French are also spoken in certain areas. English is the de facto and official language of the Aquaria.

Religion

According to a questionnaire by the federal government, 52.1% of the population is Atheist. About 47.7% of the population has filled as no Religion. Only 0.2% of the population has filled that they are religious.

In the Early 20th century, most of the Aquas were believers of the Aqua Goddess, which is actually started there also. After the establishment of the Socialist Aquaria, the government adopted a policy to promote atheist and secularist Education, which heavily reduced the number of religious people. In 1985, the Aqua Cultural Revolution has occurred, when Aqua Believers are persecuted. Nowadays, although the anti-Religion feeling is not strong now, and the government has declared neutral toward religions, the population who are religious has greatly reduced.

Aquaria's Economy is described as a miracle by certain economists. The economy has been increasing rapidly due to the successful policies of the long-ruling president Kakashi Hatake, from €42682 in 1975 to €77057 per capita nowadays. According to the Krugman-Greenspan Business Outlook Index, Aquaria's index has risen by a triple from its national day in 1943 to 2022. Aquaria's main industries are Basket Weaving, Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Book Publishing.
However, in the process of developing, a black market that is described as efficient and diversified has been working since a long time ago. The government tried to restrict them as much as they can, like setting crimes involving drugs as death crimes, the black market is still existing, although it is still a lot smaller than the other nations.

The transportation network of Aquaria consists of five major highways, and 35 minor highways, which is complemented by a high-speed railway network run by the Aqua Transport Bureau. There is an official speed limit of 100 km/h on highways. Government funding generally rises by between 1-2% each year, as public Transport has been a high priority of past and current administrations.

There is notably a high-speed rail network in Aquaria, which is state-owned by the Transport bureau.

Aquaria has seven major airports, with the largest airports being Aquarius International Airport, Minato Airport, and Athena Airport, which are hubs for the state airline Aqua Air. Most freight is delivered by land however through the five major highways.
