Discussion Should we have an embassy exchange with The Pacific?

I don't see issues with an embassy as I might with a treaty. Embassies are essentially obligation free beyond a monthly regional update if that, and unlike treaties can be rescinded if need be fairly quickly. That's my opinion as a private citizen.

From a diplomatic point of view, now that The Pacific has signed strong mutual defence treaties with so many of our regional friends and allies, ignoring The Pacific diplomatically and having no diplomatic relations isn't realistic or practical. Especially not as it was before major changes like the Gameplay Compact, which was recently signed on NSGP.

Indeed some of our regional friends and allies might be offended by the notion that they'd ever put us in danger when they've held sincere treaty negotiations with the NPO with recognition of current obligations in mind. At the very least we are now indirectly protected from the NPO by those obligations, should anything happen with ourselves and the NPO now and into the future.
