Since discussion has gone on around themes, and public feeling is divided on it, it is probably time to open a discussion on the issue, regardless of whether we keep this theme or adopt new ones.

This would be the proposal for repealing LazCorp or any future theme:
Lazarene Corporation Theme Act (2020) Repeal Act

Preamble

This law shall define the regional theme and alternate titles within the region

Section 1. Lazarene Corporation Theme Act (2020)

(1) This shall repeal the Lazarene Corporation Theme Act (2020).

Feel free to discuss what direction you think the region should go in with themes. Should we have a theme, or avoid them altogether?

Is a seperate Repeal Act necessary? Couldn't the proposed Lazarene League Theme Act simpy include a clause that repeals the current theme?

As for themes generally, I am absolutely in favour of having them. It expands the cultural options of Lazarus and forms a background to expand upon in off-site gameplay. Not having a theme would make Lazarus seem somewhat sterile.

The discussion is around whether there should be themes, and this hasn't been motioned to vote, so can always be tabled later.

If the new theme act proposal passes, then probably it might be tabled (as the region wants to go with that), but not before, as right now the Lazarene Corporation Theme Act is still the law, and if the new theme act fails to pass then this discussion would be on the table as an option.
 
Given that the vote has ended with a majority on the new theme, this can be tabled.
