When is Aleisyr stepping down ;)

There is no term limit for Emperors. He may rule as long he desires.
It was supposed to be a joke :)

More serious question, but what does Pacifica think of Balder?

That's is a big question, and this may not be the place for it

Perhaps, but it was the most interesting to me thing that I could come up with.

That is a good answer Perg.

Ooh, other question. I know the NPO has spread to a bunch of different games, why was that something that was done/what are all the game y'll have spread to?

The major ones currently are:
Cybernations (Forum changes CN to this :P)
Politics and War
NationStates

__
There are minors still running like:
EvE
Star Citizen
Star Republic

We've been in Project Terra (defunct, the game was no longer supported anyways)
And a couple others. Just to name a few.

The reason for spreading across multiple games was that we wanted to bring the Pacific from NS to countless other worlds in which we would make a stand. Making the Pacific, the NPO, an unique brand to be reckoned with. It worked out, since we have some renown. What cannot be disregarded as well is the size of the overall community, which allows us to pull things in any of these games which would not be possible as single org.

The Devil's Game thing is more of a joke. Several forums have had that fun word filter.

Who is currently on the Senate, and what are their roles?

Also, what happened to Elegarth? This might be a question you should consult with Aleisyr about before answering, since you're speaking in an official capacity. Having said that, putting in the time and effort to answer it for me would make you a mighty fine diplomat. Thank you!

That's his new ambiance!

Elegarth retired from the Senate shortly after you left the game. He became Delegate in TWP and generally stuck with TWP on NS. There is not much more to say about that.

The current Senate is composed like this:
Aleisyr (Emperor)
Pergamon (Regent)
Feux (WA Affairs)
Shnailand (Security Affairs)
Svezjacael (News and Propaganda)
Japanese Schoolgirls (Cultural Affairs)

So in the given context, what is the role of the Regent, and are the Senate positions roughly fixed as such or does it tend to vary a bit/a lot?

Senators serve as prime executors and advisors to the Emperor, they usually follow the primary role within the Senate but are not restricted to it. Technically the Emperor can order any Senator to do anything. Any Senator could command during update. How many Senators exist and what they do is the decision of the Emperor only and no document or anything else dictates that seats must be filled. The possible positions within the Senate are outlined in the charter of the Pacific.

The Pacific has Head of State and Head of Government unified in the Emperor, however, the Regent serves as Head of Government (outside of the Emperor) and oversees all affairs of the Pacific as the second in command of the New Pacific Order. The Regent serves as immediate deputy to the Emperor and has ultimate authority outside of the Emperor nation itself.
