Now if maybe it was 4 months instead of 1? And wouldn't this be within the Gazette already?
Reports aren’t very demanding. I envision a monthly report being short and informative. A short report might look like this
“Dear Shareholders,
This month LazCorp had 400 forum posts, up 20% from last month. Activity was strong across the board. Culturally, several of our roleplays progressed swimmingly, like ROLEPLAY, and we had a short poetry contest. We also had X military missions, notably MISSION, moving us towards our goal of GOAL. The Lazarene Gazette published X articles, and welcomed X new writers. We passed X laws, including LAW which I championed. The top employee by post count this month was PLAYER. Our post to spam (P/S) ratio was a healthy RATIO. We had X new citizens.
We successfully produced our monthly update, and discussed every WA resolution at vote. Next month, my executive goals include, but are not limited to, holding EVENT, achieving BENCHMARK, and toppling NAMELESS PACIFIC REGION. As CEO, I plan to personally help these goals by doing EFFORTS and I will ask the ministries to do EFFORTS.
Mmph mmph,
Treadwellia
CEO of LazCorp”

I like it because I feel like it might not only keep the executive focused and the citizenry informed but also like help newer folks understand what the regional government is all about and what kind of things they could maybe get involved in. ^^The Delegate can have someone else write the report. They’re only responsible for making sure it’s produced. And the recall vote won’t pass if the delegate has a good reason for not producing. We’re the voters.
Although... I'm not sure about automatically triggering a recall vote. Like, I understand that it's really important to have an active and involved delegate, but people do get held up sometimes and I feel like this might just add like drama (like "oh no, the delegate might be about to be recalled") to a situation like that. I don't know, I guess it's important to be held accountable for things, but at the same time I don't feel like not making a report on time should really be cause to start like the impeachment process. People can start it on their own if they think leadership needs to change.
Edit: I posted before I saw what LZ posted so whoops for semi-repeating what he said. D:
There may be some drama if a vote was triggered, but I think the benefits of a culture of accountability would be larger than the drama costs. If someone tried to make a big deal out of our delegate not being able to produce a report while having an excuse, we come to our delegate’s defense.
Amending the constitution to mandate reports is one option I could get behind. If I have time later today I'll draft an amendment version.

Basically recall is a manual and not automatic process - unless the Delegate resigns as happened recently. First someone needs to post a proposal/discussion that lasts several days, then a vote is held.Just to be 100% clear, my ideas was not to automatically recall the delegate. The act would only automatically start the vote, bypassing the several days discussion. Automatic recall would be going way too far.
