You're looking at it from the wrong angle.
Situation:
- Proposal is made by evil_guy that is unanimously supported by Lazarus.
- Evil_guy sneaks in an edit that nobody catches when it is voted on that changes the entire meaning.
- Evil_guy makes a motion to bring it to a vote.
- Evil_guy's friend seconds the motion.
- Shareholders cast their vote, not noticing the small change that changes the meaning of the law.
- You vote against because you caught the change, but no one else has, and has already cast their vote.
- Too late, the change was never discussed so people are unable to make an informed decision about it.
- Evil_guy's proposal goes into law without allowing proper discussion.
Perhaps the rule could be that any change made to the legislation requires the same 3 day standing period? How do you feel about that?
