Amendment to the Assembly Procedure Act (Sep 2020)

You're looking at it from the wrong angle.

Situation:
  • Proposal is made by evil_guy that is unanimously supported by Lazarus.
  • Evil_guy sneaks in an edit that nobody catches when it is voted on that changes the entire meaning.
  • Evil_guy makes a motion to bring it to a vote.
  • Evil_guy's friend seconds the motion.
  • Shareholders cast their vote, not noticing the small change that changes the meaning of the law.
  • You vote against because you caught the change, but no one else has, and has already cast their vote.
  • Too late, the change was never discussed so people are unable to make an informed decision about it.
  • Evil_guy's proposal goes into law without allowing proper discussion.

Perhaps the rule could be that any change made to the legislation requires the same 3 day standing period? How do you feel about that?
