Ryccia. You have committed the ultimate sin by posting a non-prime number here. 87 is divisible by 3 D: Come on man, we're not even at the big numbers yet. You just have to check for divisibility by 2, 3, 5, and 7 when you're at 87. (Since, to check if a number n is prime, you need to check to make sure that it's not divisible by any prime number up to the square root of n. I know 10^2 is a hundred, so I just need to check all primes smaller than 10, since the square root of 87 must be less than the square root of a hundred.)

89 is, however, prime.
