Welcome to the Office of the Assembly Speaker. Official announcements from the Assembly Speaker and guidelines for Deputy Speakers will be posted here. Citizens may also ask questions, make comments, provide feedback, or post a leave of absence for the attention of the Assembly Speaker, but please try not to clutter this thread. Thanks!

Deputy Guidelines:
[/cell][/table]
- Do not put anything to vote unless the Speaker is on an official leave of absence or has given permission to post a vote. This is to maintain Section 2.1, 2.4, and 4.8 of the Assembly Procedure Act.
- You may determine whether a vote is to take place in a public or private setting. The majority of discussions take place in a public setting.
- If a citizen has withdrawn their motion to vote, you may end the vote. If a citizen is no longer a citizen, then only the Speaker may withdraw the relevant motion.
- You may close votes that have ended. If you do so, remember to update the relevant law using the correct format.
- You may not give consent to release information from the Assembly. If someone asks you, tell him or her to ask the Speaker.
- You may advise citizens each month on their citizenship in accordance with the Lazarene Citizenship Act, Article II. Deprivation of Citizenship. When the Speaker or Deputies conduct a citizenship review, those scheduled to have their citizenship revoked must be listed in the Revoked Shareholders forum and a ping sent out to notify citizens of that thread as soon as it’s posted.
- Ask the Speaker before organizing or cleaning the Assembly forums.
- Elections are to be conducted by the Speaker. This includes closing the voting thread.
- Keep an eye on the Shareholders Status list.
- Any other responsibilities that are not outlined in this guideline, assume the Speaker is to carry them out, but ask.
