Government Officials Appointments Amendment (July 2023)

Section 1. Amendment of VII. Regulation of Government Officials
(1) IV. Executive Council, Establishment of the Prime Minister's Cabinet, currently reads:
Establishment of the Prime Minister's Cabinet
(5) The Prime Minister shall appoint at least two Cabinet Ministers, one tasked with internal affairs, and one with foreign affairs. Appointment of Cabinet Ministers, excluding Deputy Ministers, will be subject to confirmation by 50%+1 vote of the Assembly.
(2) IV. Executive Council, Establishment of the Prime Minister's Cabinet, shall be amended to read:

(5) The Prime Minister shall appoint

Section 2. Amendment of VII. Regulation of Government Officials
(1) VII. Regulation of Government Officials shall be amended to include:
Recall of Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers
(7) Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers may be recalled from a ministry by a two-thirds majority vote of the assembly. Once recalled they may not participate as a Cabinet Minister or Deputy Minister for the rest of the Prime Minister's term.
