Discussion Platium Manor: Greater Lazarus

Hello all! I am standing for Prime Minister because I really think we need new thinking proces and especially new blood to get involved within government. I have been a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for 1/4th of this term or less and in my time, I have not had much to do but I am full of ideas.

1. Recruitment

Recruitment regardless of our GCR status, even as a restorer, we have been lacking in getting people interested in getting involved. A Minister of recruitment or even a commissioner of recruitment would do us well. API and even a recruitment bot that can easily be set up is a good start to help us get people to want to get involved. Of course the first part of it, is a good recruitment telegram that gets someone to stay in Lazarus and want to help out and get involved. If I am elected, I will be starting the process of getting recruitment are up(I already have a recruitment bot!) and get people to recruit that are interested in putting some time into recruitment and I’ll even make cabinet members have to recruit as they should help spearhead the effort.

2. Foreign affairs

The state of Lazarus foreign affairs is pretty sad right now. We have treaties with regions that we don’t need and we have treaties with regions that need to be reworked a lot. As Prime Minister, I would look into updating our treaties and looking through which ones we should keep and ones we shouldn’t. Apart of foreign affairs is being an ambassador and reporting news to Lazarus which ideally does not happen. We need to overhaul foreign affairs if we want to put Lazarus in a good position NSGP wise.

3. Culture

Apart of my overhaul is culture. The current Ministry of internal affairs doesn’t do much ideally and I want to change that. Under my Premiership, I would want to start up culture events with our treaties regions for manor holiday seasons and other holidays as it can be something we all participate in and have fun in. Ideally we should want to hold some of our own events and even start up a rp to allow all to participate in it and it should be on the rmb as a lot of our activity is always on there. Of course, we should really think about what we want in terms of culture, throughly. I am also proposing tri-monthly updates to our foreign partners, no one really ever knows what goes on within Lazarus and ideally we should want them to, so we can share any news from Lazarus abroad into the cosmos.

4. R/D
Ideally R/D has gone well for others but for Lazarus, it has been a rather tragic story for our region as we have been out of R/D way too long now and we should get back into it, even if it is small ops with treatied partners. If we can help our regional guard members get more experience while also recruiting them into it would be a good start. Teaching them the ropes.

4. Conclusion

Ideally this is not that much but these are my main points of why you should elected me rather than the other candidate. Feel free to ask me any questions you have!

P.S this is similar somewhat to the other platform because there is some things we agree upon and disagree upon. This platform is vague because it gives me room to answer questions anyone has!

Q3: What do you mean by manor holiday seasons? And what would these culture events involve?

Q4: What R/D operations do you consider pursuing? For instance, will it be tag raids, raids, defenses? And if so, which regions would meet your criteria?

Q1: Given your answer about recruitment, is there any specific group of nations you wish to recruit, and how would you plan to welcome new nations to the region once they are here?

The bot I have doesn’t recruit some a specific group of nations. Ideally recruiting from any region as long as they are newly founded is what matters to me. I would would to get into it with some people who know Lazarus more than I do and devise just a welcoming message for them with all the information they will need.

Q2: You said we don't require certain treaties, which treaties are they or with which regions?

I think the way certain treaties are, like we hold no off-site embassies with certain regions which I want to change really. Treaties should be fair and the first way to do that, is through redoing the treaties altogether to really get the most out of them.

I also want to look for new partners, especially with the new sinkers. They can provide us with more than what we may get out of other partners. We really just need to find en regions to get relations with.

Q3: What do you mean by manor holiday seasons? And what would these culture events involve?

I meant Major holiday seasons. These culture events would involve us doing things with them, like vc events, game nights, trivia etc. it would also bring the regions closer together rather than how isolated we currently are.

Q4: What R/D operations do you consider pursuing? For instance, will it be tag raids, raids, defenses? And if so, which regions would meet your criteria?

I think we really just need to get back to training people to get into R/D. Chasing, tagging(if that is what it is called anymore) and helping out with operations in general. I think we can improve in many areas and be more transparent.

Which treaties, specifically, do you want to change or get rid of?

As someone who worked on many of these treaties during my Prime Minister terms here, I am also very interested in which ones you see as unnecessary. As a region that needs friends and has been Couped many times in our history what is the motivation to make the region less safe? Ending treaties will only strain relations that we need. Please make me understand.

Some of our treaties like TNP; TSP, TWP etc have cultural parts in each of the treaties but yet, I have not seen the cultural parts ever going into effective.(i.in events with them, holiday events etc) There is no point in having cultural provisions in it if we don't do cultural events with them. Re-evaluating them to see which parts we benefit from and want.
