Prime Minister Procedural Act

Section 1. Term of the Prime Minister

(1) The Prime Minister will represent the interests of the Executive Council as Prime Minister for a four-month term, upon passage.

(2) The Prime Minister may issue directives to set public policy for ministries and all their programs and activities. Such directives will remain in effect unless rescinded or amended by the Executive Council.

(3) The Prime Minister may appoint Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, regional representatives, and any other officials deemed necessary to carry out the duties, programs, and activities of the ministries.

End of the Prime Minister's term

(4) 15 days prior to the end of a Prime Minister's term one of the following shall occur:

a. The Executive Council consenting to a Prime Ministerial election in the Assembly
b. The appointment of a new Prime Minister by the Executive Council
c. The continuance of term by the Executive Council for the Prime Minister

(5) If no action is taken prior to the end of the Prime Minister's term, their term shall end automatically.

Section 2. Establishment of Prime Minister

(1) This shall rescind the Continuance of First Citizen Term August 2024 upon passage.

(2) @Debussy will become Prime Minister upon passage for a four-month term, which may be renewed through a continuance of term.

Section 3. Limitations

(1) The Executive Council may add or remove powers or responsibilities granted to the Prime Minister in Section 1, Term of the Prime Minister.

(2) This act may be repealed or amended in accordance with the Procedural rules for the Executive Council.
