No, I’m not just taking about the themes. I’m taking about the last few suggestions over the past week that have been shot down without due cause

Can you be more specific?

Nothing that has been proposed of major note in the past week has been shot down otherwise.

The only reason folks stepped back recently on the PM report issue was due to the legal implications towards the PM if they missed a report.

As for the proposal to partly or full open up the BMR, that discussion isn't over. That proposal too was a lot more difficult to work out than it first appeared, which is the same with revealing information and discussions currently private.

None of those discussions have been shot down as yet, and they still show some promise.

Coming up to thanksgiving I haven't had the time to fully look at both, and suggest some major improvements, which is probably the same for a lot of folks US-based that are gearing up for a major family gathering.

The Alternative Name of the Lazarene Government Act (2021)

Preamble

This law shall define the legal name of Lazarus

Section One: the Lazarene Union

(1) The Alternate Title of the region of Lazarus shall be known as the Lazarene Union

(2) the Lazarene Union shall be considered to be the default legal name of the Region of Lazarus, to be used in official, legal documents.

(3) The alternative title of the region shall coexist with any theme related act passed by the Assembly of Lazarus

I’m willing to make a compromise which preserves LazCorp but establishes a theme neutral legal name for Lazarus to use in external documents like treaties.

Ironically, we don't even need this, unless the goal is a referendum on LazCorp. If enough of the region decided we shouldn't use LazCorp, we could just stop using it, as it is declared as voluntary in the act.

Likewise, we could just pass another theme and follow that instead without even having to go through repealing LazCorp, as repealing LazCorp is saying no to it as regional lore - which given a lot of people still appreciate LazCorp on some level is unpopular to them.

You could actually pass this without:

(2) This Act shall repeal the Lazarene Corporation Theme Act

As if enough vote for this act, it wouldn't make sense to follow the other voluntary act over this, and the LazCorp Act could just be ignored as it is voluntary.

Same is the case with the Space Theme Act, where it also mentions repealing LazCorp.
