Elections will be held in a 9 day process and will take place in the forums. - 4 days shall be given to Lazarenes for nominations which shall need no seconds. Nominations must be accepted by the nominee otherwise the nomination will be invalid. - 4 days shall be devoted for campaigning and presenting their platforms, which will start 2 days after and during the nominations period. Anyone may ask questions of the candidates. - 3 days of the election process shall be dedicated to voting. Lazarenes must vote via posts, posting in the respective thread, for their choice of candidate. - In the event that there is only a single candidate for a position, and there are more 'abstain' votes than for the said candidate. Re-elections for the said position shall take place. - No individual may stand for more than one government position at one time or at one elections. - If and when snap elections are called, they shall follow the normal election procedure as previously stated. - A member of the Emerald Council shall only be allowed to vote if he or she has been a member for a week or more.
