What if a country not only legalized, normalized, and encouraged the act of buying votes, but also constructed a transparent public digital marketplace for it?

On this marketplace, campaigns could bid and offer on individuals' votes. All bids and offers would be public. Votes would be private by default, but voters could choose to vote publicly.
