Forum Privacy and Security Features

Firstly, thanks for joining our forum!

Q: Do you give user data to third-parties?

A: Not directly. This forum does not run advertising, but it does have connections with third party services such as Google through search results, and Spotify, and Discord, which have their own policies out of our control.

Q: How can I secure my account?

A: There are multiple ways to secure your account:

A: Unfortunately there is no automated way to do this, though you can submit an admin request to have this done manually.

Q: What happens when I delete my account?

A: All your posts are deleted, and you are scrubbed from the database, unless you ask us otherwise in your admin request.
 
1. How to Appeal a Moderation Decision

There are many reasons why you might want to appeal a moderation decision, which includes:
  • Feeling you were treated unfairly in a decision, or that the decision was too harsh for the action​
  • Not all the facts being provided in reaching a decision i.e. there may have been prior harassment​
  • You were given a warning you believe you shouldn't have been given​
How you appeal this on the forum or the discord is relatively simple, just post a post in this thread or in this forum category or in the #moderation channel of the regional discord.

Alternatively DM or PM your appeal if you want it to be kept private.

Do not continue to discuss the decision in the thread where the incident occurred as this will force an escalation.

This Code of Conduct outlines acceptable behavior in Lazarus/LazCorp.
It should be noted that not everything is listed in this Code of Conduct, as sub-rulings will be added as required or requested.

1. Behavior Rules

(1. 1) Don't harass other users in Lazarus/LazCorp, which includes sending other members PMs after they have requested you to stop.
(1. 2) Don't doxx other members, which remains revealing personally identifiable information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, real full names, and so on.
(1. 3) Don't troll other users, as the forum takes a very dim view of such behavior.
(1. 4) This is a PG-13 forum, so sending/posting pornographic or sexual content is not permitted, inclusive of photos, gifs, and sexually graphic text or discussion.
(1. 5) Keep spamming to clearly marked areas, such as spamtopia, though posting gifs and emojis in all other areas are acceptable as long as they aren't posted in quick succession in a manner that could be considered a flood.
(1. 6) Any copyrighted material used across the server and forum is the property of their respective owners and is used on basis of fair-use or the terms of use agreement. Copying or using without permission is strictly prohibited.

2. Avatar/Forum Profile Rules

(2. 1) Fascist symbols and avatars may be restricted or be required to be removed on this forum, this is inclusive of German, Italian, or British fascism, and their flags, insignia, or images of public figures. Warnings may be given, or you may risk being kicked/banned from the forum. In other words, if you think I'd be banned in Germany, according to their anti-Nazi laws, don't use it. Everyone should have a right to feel safe on this server, and that it isn't full of anti-semites, racists, homophobes, and so on.
(2. 2) Characters meant to degrade the race, religion, ethnicity, sex, or gender identity of other server members, are not permitted on this server. You'll be warned if you break the rules but repeating after you are warned may result in being banned or kicked from the forum.
(2. 3) Anything that may break the Terms of Service of Nationstates on flag use, as mentioned here: https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=361490, is not permitted on this forum.

3. No recruitment or distracting advertising is allowed on this server

(3. 1) Posting or sending recruitment messages on this forum is not permitted and may result in you being kicked or banned from the forum if repeated.
(3. 2) Advertising events is permitted, so long as the adverting is not overly distracting.
(3. 3) Advertising events as a means of recruitment is not permitted, such as advertising an event that also advertises why they should move away from Lazarus.

4. Reporting and Warning Policies

(4. 1) First, report through a PM to New Rogernomics New Rogernomics , describing the issue with another member of the forum, though for trolling and spam you may report it in this thread.
(4. 2) Warnings are specific to a possible or suspected server policy violation, so a first warning on three separate policies would not warrant forum expulsion.
(4. 3) Warnings do not need to cover behavior such as spamming or trolling, as a member can be muted or removed from the forum, till they desist.
(4. 4) First warnings are advisories requesting laying off an activity, and are not threatening expulsion from the server, but appeals of this warning can be granted on request.
(4. 5) Second warnings are advisories requesting laying off an activity, though in this situation appeals will be granted, as it could lead to more severe action in the future.
(4. 6) Third warnings will result in being unable to post on the forum for at least 24 hrs or up to a week by being moved to the Confined to the Supply Closet! depending on severity. Appeals will be granted, though these will take place in PMs.
(4. 7) Final warnings will result in being moved to the Confined to the Supply Closet group and being unable to post on the forum Appeals will be granted if requested, and will take place in PMs . If the appeal fails this will result in forum expulsion from one to twelve months, or indefinitely if the behavior was severe enough a breach of the Code of Conduct.
(4. 8) If it is suspected spamming or trolling, you can either PM New Rogernomics, McChimp or Tubbius.

Bug existed with the Pokemon Gym not providing the amount to purchase a Pokemon. This bug has been corrected.
 
Image proxy display issue fixed with forum software update.
 
Working through the Assembly vote threads to correct the links to discussions.
 
Working on altering masking on the forum, which should be done in a few days.

I've been puzzled by this for a while, as Lazarene Dark and Light have virtually the same code. I am still looking into it, as it would be a table padding change to fix it.
