Chancellor Emeritus Posts: 249 Group: Admins Member #2 Joined: Nov 8, 2015	Recently, there has been some change within the Government and Community of our region. With me being unable to dedicate the time that the region deserves for some of its needs, I have decided it necessary to create a new position. This position is the position of the Regional Governor. 1. The Regional Governor shall hold the World Assembly Delegate position. 2. During the absence of the Imperial Chancellor from the region for one year, or if there is no current Imperial Chancellor, the Regional Governor may become the Imperial Chancellor. 3. The Regional Governor has all duties and powers that the Imperial Chancellor has, except powers involving the position of the Imperial Chancellor, the Basic Laws and Procedure of Warzone Sandbox, and amending or repealing decrees of the Imperial Chancellor 4. In conflicts of law between the Imperial Chancellor's decrees and the Regional Governor's declarations, the Imperial Chancellor's decrees take precedence. 5. The Imperial Chancellor has the sole discretion to interpret this document. 6. The Regional Governor is appointed by the Imperial Chancellor, and shall serve as his or her discretion. The appointment shall not require a decree of the Imperial Chancellor. 7. The Regional Governor may not bind or otherwise prevent the Imperial Chancellor from acting. 8. Any declarations from the Regional Governor that may bind or otherwise affect the Imperial Chancellor must get assent from the Imperial Chancellor prior to being law. 9. Any declarations from the Regional Governor amending any Decrees of the Imperial Chancellor must gain the assent of the Imperial Chancellor. 10. Any declarations from the Regional Governor will take effect immediately upon being registered within the Compendium of Law, which shall be located at: https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=536584 11. This declaration shall take effect upon being registered within the Compedium of Law as located within the link in Section 10 of this act.
