Copied from Wop/Sauron's post in the 2015 Defender Awards. To nominate a person, please post a reply in the thread of the award you wish to nominate them for. For instance, if you wish to nominate someone for the ‘Defender of the Year’ award, please post their name in that topic. Once that has been done, it will take another another person to second the nomination in order for it to be included in the voting. Anyone can second a nomination. Once it has reached this quota, the nominations list will be updated to reflect these changes. Please make sure to check the nomination thread before you nominate someone. If they have already reached the quota needed, there is no need for you to nominate them again. That said, we seem to have acquired a tradition of people 'thirding', 'fourthing', and even fifthing' nominations - so if you really feel it is necessary, then you can. There is a nomination period of two weeks. Once these two weeks have ended, the nominations threads will be locked, and further nominations will not be accepted. |
