This poem, Puppymill Pete was written when it was discovered that Lone Wolves United was seeking to name the wolf on their flag. The suggestion of Puppymill Pete came to mind and was presented to LWU as a suggestion from the defenders. The intent of the poem was to write two allegorical stories that would be interpreted differently, depending on if you were a defender or invader.

Puppymill Pete was raised in a cage.
Puppymill Pete gained a great rage.
Puppymill Pete just wanted to a great.
But nobody wanted a puppy named Pete.

Evoking the distant wolf within,
Puppymill Pete escaped from his bin.
Travelling far, along on his way,
Puppymill Pete had little to say.

Long was his life, alone in the dark.
Sniffing around in the quiet city park.
When Puppymill Pete was old with age,
The nappers caught him; back to his cage.

His fur had greyed, and eyes would sag.
Then Puppymill Pete was put on the flag.
And now you know, now you can see,
The secret untold history,
of Puppymill Pete and the LWU.
I swear to God all this is true.
