We are rapidly approaching the one year anniversary to the refounding of the Order and we should do something collectively to celebrate this milestone with our allies and friends. The defender awards as we know them are done. The FRA closed its doors and the efforts of defenders in 2015/2016 were lost forever in our apathy. This should not be allowed to continue. We are not relics. We are better, faster and more beautiful than ever before and gameplay should not be allowed to ignore us. Its high time that those of us who take up the noble cause of defending the vulnerable come together once more to recognize and to bond with one another. In addition to having defender awards, I'd like to propose a new and separate set of awards called the Spicies. These awards would be less formal and take more of a comedic tone that would be open to all of gameplay. A little Warden spice makes everything nice. This has needed to happen forever. It's summer now and I'm off school so the Office of Culture is going to be a lot more active. I'd be happy to run these through this office. We need some images - Tim also brought this up on Discord but Imki could be a person to talk to (I don't know them that well - someone better acquainted should probably do this). The addition of spicy awards is a very nice Warden touch.  I don't know about the mod one though - there's some gray area there that might need to be kept off the NS forum. Same goes for the salt boi and please shut up awards. We can post an abbreviated list on the forum and keep the rest offsite. I think it'll work somehow - that's what planning's for!Anyway, this needs to happen and I'm fully behind it. |

There aren't enough stars in the thing to display my senior warden status and I'm also too lazy to do anything about it, so...yeah...oh hey it's the Defender Awards! Good luck everyone! Jeez what is the character limit for this thing

Some suggestions for awards: Best Defender Best Chaser Best Trigger Best Detagger And as others have noted, I'd probably drop Most likely to be DoS and Please be fired...even the Spicies should have more of a positive silly vibe. |
