The Anti Slavikian Alliance - The Overlorddom

The Anti Slavikian Alliance has turned a year old two months ago, and much has happened between then and its first founding. One of the more controversial events in its history was the establishment of the Overlorddom by the former Founder of the region, Okawalka. With Overlord Day, the event of the establishment of the Overlorddom, having just passed on December 15, one must wonder in the age of a developing democracy in TASA - why do we have an Overlord?

Though the Overlord in the currently in-progress constitution has mostly ceremonial powers, the Overlord is not without its cons. Having been retained mostly for the sake of tradition, one may wonder: should we get rid of the Overlorddom altogether? Or perhaps, the Overlorddom is essential to region stability, being the sole, unchanging figurehead?

What do you think?

nothing wrong with slowly transitioning into a benevolent constitutional monarchy :-)
