To be clear, while the content of the Admin Conference is likely to be most relevant to offsite platform administrators and moderators, the conference is open to all NSWF attendees. By contributions to the community and being a trustworthy person as well as an application process. Could you briefly sum up your day-to-day responsibilities as an administrator? IP and Security Checks, masking, admin requests, and general forum maintenance.

NSWF, Australia (effectively defunct), previously Canada and several non-NS sites. Over what platforms? (Discord, Forum etc.) Forum How are administrators selected in your region? Varies. Could you briefly sum up your day-to-day responsibilities as an administrator? Mostly dealing with technical aspects of the forum.

A mix of merit, technical expertise, tenure/reliability, certain level of activity, etc. Could you briefly sum up your day-to-day responsibilities as an administrator? Technical requests; basic account security for new citizens; helping with any other situations as required on either the forums or Discord (e.g. looking into technical changes that could be made, possible TOS violations, etc.)

Madhouse Productions; Paedagog; The Apartment Block. I also serve as a site administrator for regions requesting assistance in coding their offsite forums. I do not retain any authority in those forums beyond my ability to change coding at the group admin/leadership's request. Over what platforms? (Discord, Forum etc.) Proboards, Zetaboards, Discord, Skype, Espernet How are administrators selected in your region? Most of my organizations are privately "owned"; our Founders may opt to appoint people to positions. We do not commonly hold elections. Our administrators are selected based upon their background and experience, as well as their demeanor. We'll appoint a CS major as our IT admin; we'll appoint a real-world manager as our Membership Advisor. We do not appoint minors. Could you briefly sum up your day-to-day responsibilities as an administrator? Briefly? No. The best summary I can give is that I maintain our platforms in order to keep things current, I pester our officers when we are in need of their updates (coughPAOcough), I keep abreast of rules and regulation changes made by platform providers, I handle complaints as part of a team. I'll mediate disputes between our members, if asked.

Enadia Over what platforms? (Discord, Forum etc.) Forum How are administrators selected in your region? GVH created the forum, therefore he's the root admin. Our other administrator is our founder who did most of the actual setup. Could you briefly sum up your day-to-day responsibilities as an administrator? We've just moved to a new forum on our own domaine, so right now it comes down to making sure everything's looking right before we make it live to users. I have been the administrator of another forum though in the past, and my duties largely consisted of forum maintenance and moderation.
