It has taken you far too long to reach, but at last, you see it; Point Nemo appears ahead of you like an island, rising up out of the water misshapen and brazen. It looks like an island, but in reality, it is more like a pontoon, a floating raft made up of accumulated plastic waste and various seaweeds, here at the furthest point from land anywhere on the planet, right in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean.

As you near you see that it is not just a junk heap, but that it has been curated - crafted, even - into some semblance of order. Bottles and bags and old bits of plastic rope entwine together into statues of seahorses, serpents and mermaids. Similar colours are brought together in repeating fractal patterns to turn one planet's discarded waste into a fever dream of its potential future.

And as your boat knocks against the side with the sound of hollow plastic, you see the centrepiece of this makeshift landmass, this recycled paradise: the Point Nemo club itself. Built like an igloo out of old bottles and scraps, it is as sturdy as it is translucent and, as the sun sets behind it, already you can see the fading sunlight mixed with the artificial lights within to create a surreal, rainbow twilight. And you can hear the music, already. It makes you smile.

You climb up out of your boat and, surprised to find the 'ground' sturdy and stable, you make your way to the club. The night is coming and it's time to share some tunes.

Volaworand Water Products, Inc. (VWP) has listened to Volaworandians who were asking for the ‘Liquid Love’ song they’ve been hearing on TV. The song, ‘Liquid Love’ by Madonna, was originally only created for VWP’s new "SPIT: the Joy of Love" commercial. Now, a full length track and ringtone are available for download on myTunes and BoogiePlay.

Fans can now download "SPIT: the Joy of Love" song

All proceeds from the song downloads will be donated to VWP’s philanthropy programs which works to make a positive difference in the lives of South Pacificans by supporting programs that focus on environmental and conservation issues. Currently the program is supporting reforestation efforts in war-torn [nation]Tilipria[/nation]. VWP and its partner, Kentucky Fried Penguin, will be matching donations from the song’s proceeds up to £10,000 in support of this program.

“The sentiment of our new commercial really resonated with South Pacificans, and the music is the unifying element that ties all the scenes together,” says Vagn Andersen, Managing Director at VWP. “After receiving an overwhelmingly positive response and being flooded with requests for the song, we decided to record an extended version and give our customers what they were looking for – it’s very exciting.”

The "SPIT: the Joy of Love" commercial was created by VWP’s advertising agency, st. john. The full 60-second spot can be viewed on WhoTube.

“It’s hard enough for most brands to make a piece of communication that consumers will stop and pay attention to,” says Kiall Nelly, Creative Director at st. john. “So when people are asking for a part of your brand to live on their playlists right next to Kanye West and Daft Punk that’s a request you can’t say no to.”

The extended version of the ‘Liquid Love’ song is available on myTunes and BoogiePlay. The ringtone is available on myTunes and Tuunes.co.aq
