How it works:

Each person is a different species of tree, and begins with 2 individuals in their population.
Each time you post, you may either choose to double your current population (as your species reproduces and grows) or choose to remove 10 from another person.
However, if the total number of individuals in the forest reaches 500 or more, all species' populations are immediately halved (if halving or removing 10 would bring a population to less than 2, it is rounded up to 2).
Each time you post, you change the number you've chosen and the total as well.
The winner is the species with the largest population!

EDIT: I've edited the rules a bit to make the increase not quite so quick— now you double each time instead of square (that's 2^x instead of x².
