It starts in two hours! I know Loft will be watching! xD

I'm looking forward to it, and I'm glad the chief of the DNC stepped down. She needed to go. I knew she was not a nice person way before those emails came out, but I don't think that will have any impact on the election.

EDIT: and the headline on CNN right now is "Russia meddling with the election?"

his backward views on homosexuality

That he has no problem with it and had an openly and proudly gay speaker at the Republican convention? Yes, I agree, very backward!
Donald Trump:
After the Supreme Court ruling of two years ago, said he disagreed with the ruling and made an analogy about gay people to his dislike of certain golf putters;
Has supported the First Amendment Defense Act, widely recognized to be an excuse to discriminate against minorities, including gay people;
Suggested he would appoint judges to overturn the gay marriage decision;

His running mate:
Signed a vehemently anti-gay law in Indiana;
Once said "societal collapse was always brought about following an advent of the deterioration of marriage and family;"
Voted against the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, saying "wages war on freedom and religion in the workplace;"
Opposed the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell;

Just because he can find a self-hating 'gay' Republican to support his theocratic agenda doesn't make his plans to eliminate same sex marriage, his anti-gay rights law, and his policy of gay conversion therapy on people any less disgusting. It will do him in, if he tries it.*Read his platform, it is stuck in the 1950s. I don't like Clinton, but I would never be caught dead voting Trump, it would not only be voting against my interests, but electing a President that wants to turn back the clock on gay rights.

[...]Since then, support for same-sex marriage has steadily grown. Based on polling in 2016, a majority of Americans (55%) support same-sex marriage, compared with 37% who oppose it. See the latest data on same-sex marriage.

Pence is also a major advocate of gay conversion therapy, and wants to force US taxpayers to fund it in the Federal budget.

Even though gay conversion therapy is a pseudo-science, psychologically harmful, and just plan ineffective: http://www.hrc.org/resources/the-lies-and-dangers-of-reparative-therapy

Not to mention a total violation of the separation of church and state, with the whole establishment of a religion in government policy thing.

We can't fund affordable health care for women but we can fund torture for gay people. :/

Yep. >_<

Trump and the GOP want a poverty-stricken utopia, where abortion is illegal, and where contraception isn't covered or is prohibitively expensive.

Kind of like what is parodied in this Monty Python clip:
