THE GREAT DEBATE Lazarus! Your people need you! Who do you choose? Trump? Clinton? Sanders? Whoever it is, Lazarus will be hosting it's first mock presidential debate and we want you to be at the eye of what is sure to be a hell of a tornado! But first we need to decide who the debate will be between; Trump v. Clinton, Trump v. Sanders, or Clinton v. Sanders? Fill out the poll and let us know  And to kick start this thing, write in this thread if you want to be one of the candidates debating (and which one). Drawing on the debate format of the 2012 Presidential debates, you two can decide which format you would rather. If one of you wants one, and the other wants the second option, then the decision will be open to the public. Option 1: The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have 24 hours to respond. There will be four segments; foreign policy, economy, military, and domestic policies. Option 2: A debate of this format will take the form of a town meeting, in which (Lazarene) citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have 12 hours to respond, and an additional 2 hours for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be open to every citizen. |
