By: Omega As almost everyone knows at this point Osiris was couped recently by Founder Cormac. This is the Second and most recent coup of a GCR this year (the first being to my home region TSP). So what happened this time? Well there was election drama where after last minute vote swapping the Almighty Jesus Whale was elected to be Pharaoh/Delegate of Osiris. However due to this drama and possibly the fact that a Stark was not elected Cormac and Tim Stark (previous Pharaoh) couped the region, declaring that Cormac would be Pharaoh and that the Pharaoh would be able to choose their successor. this resulted in a number of embassy withdraws and condemnations including one from Lazarus. Five days ago a cabinet was announced for Osiris as well as that a legislature would be formed. Their task is to make a new constitution for Osiris (similar to what TSP has been doing for a few months now). All citizens are allowed to participate and full details on all of this can be found here. The cabinet does appear to hold a lot of Cormac loyals (as expected) but perhaps someday Osiris will be free for all agian. Edited by Omega, May 5 2016, 12:49 AM.
