If it pleases the court, I hereby submit the following actions by Sovereign Loftegen to the court for review. On 6 April 2016, Loftegen made an address regarding the absence of current Grand Commandant of the Guards Kazmr and, to the point of contention in this court, appointed Horse as "acting" grand commandant. I posit that this action is illegal under the Constitution of Lazarus, based on the following clause:
Allowing the Sovereign to appoint "acting" cabinet officials allows them to circumvent the requirement of having the citizens vote on their nomination for as long as they feel. I submit this government policy to the court for review. Edited by Funkadelia, Apr 6 2016, 09:13 PM.

That literally makes no sense The LLA is not able to handle its internal affairs, so you're plan is to make the appointment of a guy on pretty much every night defending, AND one who has experience leading take longer? Yeah ok sure that's a good plan And with the speed of how the courts work here, sorry to say that I'm not confident that investigation would not take until the heat death of the Universe. Calm down. I only request that you confirmation hearing be postponed. I don't contest your right to be Grand Commandant, but I do contest your right to be automatically appointed "acting GC" and the ability for the Sovereign to appoint regular officers |

I respect your concerns. Horse does have a point though. I would think my nomination of him to the office of Grand Commandant would be an entirely seperate matter from my appointing him Acting Grand Commandant. However, I will comply with the Grand Court's official ruling on the matter, whatever it is. On the matter of delaying the confirmation process, I would think that falls to Dircetor of Cermonies Starberry's discretion. |

It's not a separate matter because "Acting" anything does not exist under the provisions of the Constitution and it is contrary to the spirit of the law to circumvent the will of the people. |

"As my last act I would also like to make official Loft's promotion of Horse to Commandant of the Guards, so as not to trigger any constitutional issues with selecting a new commandant" Yeah it sure got a lot harder |

I did not see that at the time I posted. Now, this case has nothing to do you anymore. |
