I would push that button. I'd rather have a great story go on with one major gap than to see a great story just sort of end. You will gain a life that cannot be ended by any means and enough food will become available (and be properly distributed) to feed the population of Earth forever, however if you ever eat again this will end, and the amount of food available for the world will be cut down to 1/10 the required amount.
