Files were charged against "the Gang of Five" (as one person) in late September...and it's December now. The Chief Justice presiding over the case has resigned, judgement has been delayed thrice over, and the initial trial was remarkably disorganized to begin with. What's the plan now? |

I am fine with making a ruling now with the current judges, but I understand the desire to have a retrial. A compromise could be to reopen the case for new evidence for anyone who doesn't feel like they got there say 6 months ago and since we now have two new justices. Does that seem fair? |

There should absolutely be a retrial. And it should be thorough. The previous "trial" charged five individuals as a single person, and went off the rails before it even truly began. There was, for instance, at least a full page of me defending myself against forum destruction charges -- forum destruction charges that I needed to defend myself against because I was treated as five people. Treating five people was one person is, in no court of law, fair. I have a case to make for myself and I hope the court will formally allow me their ears. I have given my time and cooperation to this endeavor and hope Lazarus will continue to return the favor. I really am thankful for the court's treatment of me; I'm not blind to the fact that most of you think I'm guilty. For you to give me my day in court, and the opportunity to tell my side of the story anyway, reflects very well on the new government. Edited by Milograd, Feb 22 2016, 01:51 AM.

Seems like the best course is to begin a trial for Milograd and to issue the judgement on the rest of them. We probably can't officially do that without a Chief Justice, so I will just vote for Constie to be the new Chief Justice, which should be majority if he accepts. |
