Summary Offences

1.1 - Aggression: Exceeding the endorsement cap without the Chairman's consent, attempting to lower the Chairman's and/or his or her endorsee's endorsement numbers, and publically advocating for reactionary violence (i.e. a military coup d'état against the People's Republic). The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
1.2 - Disruption: Spamming the Lazarene forum or Regional Message Board, or posting recruitment advertisements on the RMB that the Chairman does not condone. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
1.3 - Harassment: Intimidating, pressuring, or attacking citizens of the People’s Republic in a way that is spiteful or aggressive. The recommended sentence for harassment is, at minimum, a 10 to 15 day ban from the forum, a probation from visiting IRC and posting on the RMB, whereas at most it is a one-month long ban from the forum and a one-month long probation from visiting Lazarus’ IRC and posting on the RMB.
1.4 - Prohibited Nation-Sharing: Belonging to a player whose nation(s) has/have already been banned from Lazarus. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
1.5 - Obscenity: Using a flag, pre-title, currency, leader name, national religion name, or nation name on a nation’s custom fields. Content that would offend or disgust a reasonable person shall fulfill this definition, as shall pornographic, obscene, and similarly inappropriate material. The recommended sentence is a removal from the region until a time when the national details are adjusted appropriately.
1.6 - Flaming and Trolling: Intentionally insulting and/or trying to elicit a negative emotional reaction from users, frustrate them, or cause social discord for the sake of one’s amusement. The recommended sentence is probation from the forum and the regional message board that is between 15-days long and a month long, depending on the severity of the transgression.
1.7 - Impersonation: Using national details that are distinctly similar to another nation individually or as in a group, claiming to be another player, or claiming to represent the PRL and/or have official associations with the PRL without this being a factual claim. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
1.8 - Vexatious Metacommunication: Repeated abuse of emoticons, causing frustration and annoyance. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
1.9 - Vexatious Litigation: Filing unmeritable, frivolous, repetitive, and/or burdensome accusations of crimes against the Public to the Judicial District that constitute an abuse of the judicial process. The recommended sentence for the former is banishment from the in-game region and the forum, whereas the recommended sentence for the latter is the removal of citizenship from the subject nation.


General Offenses

2.1 - Subversion: Being a member of an organization that the People's Republic acknowledges itself as being at war with, aiding, abetting and pursuing the exploitation of the People, conspiring against the People's Republic's interests, assisting in and/or not reporting subversive activities to the State Council or the Chairman, or assisting in acts of violence against a treated ally of Lazarus. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
2.2 - Espionage: Gathering private government information to be used or distributed against the interests of the People's Republic and/or without permission, redistributing content from private Lazarene forums or chat rooms to parties without clearance without the Chairman's permission, or using a proxy on the forum without the Chairman's consent. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region: nations that are found guilty of this offense solely for proxying are recommended to be sentenced with more mercy provided they agree to cease proxying in Lazarus.
2.3 - Conspiracy: Agreeing to commit a crime at some time in the future. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
2.4 - Fraud: Deliberatively deceiving the people or the People's government on for the sake of unfair or undeserved gain, be that politically or socially, and/or to sow confusion within the ranks of the Republic. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region unless the nation confesses, in which case the suggested sentence entails a one-month probation from the regional forum and regional message board.
2.5 - Perjury: Falsely testifying to deceive to a court of law. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
2.6 - Forum Destruction: Abusing administrative powers on a forum to cause a denial of service or substantial loss of information. The recommended sentence is banishment from the forum and in-game region.
2.7 - Repeat Violation: Should a player be found guilty of a crime against the Public on multiple occasions, and should that player seem as though they are not learning their lesson, a user may be tried for repeatedly offending the law. The recommended sentence for such a player is a permanent ban.
2.8 - Desertment: Refusing to assist in the defense of Lazarus against invasion. The recommended sentence is banishment.


Absolute Crimes

3.1 Legal Violations: Violations of RL laws pertinent to Lazarus (i.e. hacking, being a sex offender) are punishable by banishment from the region and forum.
3.2 Forum Crimes: Destructively destroying forum content, pornspamming, and gorespamming are punishable by banishment from the region and forum. This also applies to spamming people with disturbing content, or presenting it to them without their consent.
3.3 Personal Crimes: If sensitive real-life information or personal information about Lazarenes are posted, and if the relevant party is made uncomfortable by this, this action is punishable by banishment from the region and forum.
