Supreme Executive Chief Justice for Life Posts: 337 Group: Members Member #50 Joined: Apr 12, 2015	The Grand Court of Lazarus Greetings, and welcome to The Grand Court. The Grand Court is the sole judicial body of Lazarus, as established by the Constituion of Lazarus and regulated by The Unified Legal Code of The Republic of Lazarus. It has sole responsibility for accusations of criminal and civil wrongdoing and the interpretation of the constitution and laws of Lazarus via the process of judicial review. The Grand Court is a non-adversarial, inquisitorial system that conducts all hearings publicly via judicial inquiry. At all times the objective is to establish fact and resolve the matter, and there is no jury, prosecution or defense as in adversarial systems. The Grand Court consists of between three and five justices, nominated by the Delegate and confirmed by the legislature. It is headed by a chief justice who is responsible for the administration of The Grand Court and the direction of judicial inquiries. This thread serves as a central information hub and contact point for The Grand Court, and provides direction to the relevant complaint threads for criminal and civil matters, the format for initiating a judicial review, an archive of legal decisions and other court records. At present this thread is still under construction, and will be updated periodically with more information.
