Wow. I seem to actually be running for Sovereign. Who'da thunk it? Well, first, let me congratulate my fellow nominees: I know you would all make fine Sovereigns. That said, I guess I'd better lay out what would happen if I actually won, and anticipate a few questions: What do you intend to do? Hopefully not much. The game of interregional politics doesn't interest me, so I'd delgate such matters to the appropriate ministers, and forward all embassy requests to the Grand Assembly for approval or rejection. Domestically, I intend to maintain the status quo. Most people seem content with that, and I see no need to rock the boat. What about all that Dictator stuff on the RMB? My campaign is mostly silly. Back during the PRL, I ran a mock campaign for Dictator to tweak the powers that were, and figured "Why not use the same idea again?" as a joke for this election. Then I had the idea, what if Emperor Norton had somehow been elected President of the United States? What if, despite his delusion, he did the job strictly according to the law? That's what I'll go for. Surely there has to be more to it than that. There is one thing that is dear to my heart: getting a ban on the Gang of Five made a matter of law, rather than of policy. I tried to get a ban written into the constitution, without luck. I proposed a law that met the same fate. Noises were made about a trial, but nothing ever came of that. So, if elected, I'm going to try again for a constituional or statutory ban. That's about it. I'll be glad to answer questions, if anyone has any. |

Do you already have individuals in mind for your cabinet if you are elected? |

If I were to win, I suppose I'd offer the Minister Herald job to New Rogernomics, since he's interested in the position. I'd be glad to have you stay on as head of the LLA, since you seem to enjoy the job. That leaves the Stewardship, which I have nobody in mind for, so I'd just ask if anyone was interested, pick from the group of violunteers, and leave the final call to the Grand Assembly. |

If you win then I would accept the Minister Herald position. Obviously that would mean someone would need to take over as the head editor for the Gazette, and I think Belschaft is best prepared for that role. Though I could still remain on the editing team, to help edit and prepare articles. Minister Steward, would obviously then become open, though that would now occur regardless. So, I'm both running for Sovereign again, and too lazy to make a new topic. What am I for/do I promise to do? I'm for personal liberty, high endo caps, the Constitution, and lots of polls. I promise to keep Lazarus as safe as I can without infringing your right to enjoy the region as seems best to you. What will I not promise? Activity. I'll do what I can, with polls, but ultimately the level of activity is up to you, my fellow Lazarenes. Questions are welcome. |

I HAVE CHORTLES!

How involved do you intend to be with the work your ministers will be doing? It is after all the duty of the sovereign to choose which direction Lazarus will take. |
