Bernie is a good man with a good heart, and the fact he is a 'democratic socialist' doesn't change that. The 'black lives matter' group is becoming more fringe by the minute, and if anything disrupting a Sanders event might actually help Sander's campaign. Also the front runner candidates whether GOP or Dem are 'white' this election, so what 'Black Lives Matter' hope to accomplish I have no idea, as no GOP candidate supports them, and they attacked Hillary Clinton and now Bernie Sanders so that rules out them being relevant to the Dem candidates too. I actually wasnt at this one, I was at one at the UW basketball arena that evening You could tell this had happened though because all the soeakers before (a couple state reps, local labor leaders, etc) brought up how 'black lives matter' and bernie is the only pres candidate who takes the issue seriously and whatnot As for who did it, the big, main BLM group in seattle had nothing to do with it, was actually an anarchist group IIRC. |
