The election for the position of Pharaoh and by extension the Delegacy of Osiris is neck to neck. The candidates are current Vizier Ainocra and co-founder Koth. At the time of writing, Ainocra is narrowly leading Koth 10-9. It's a tight race and right now, it's anybody's guess as to who will win. *so exciting *hyperventilating *faints from excitement |

Actually, Detective Figs (Astarial) could possibly have been construed as a couper for dissolving the Kemetic Republic of Osiris in violation of the Book of the Dead, but Koth could not have been as there was no legal government to coup at the time. You can't blame Koth and Venico for the dissolution of the KRO; that was Asta, supported by much of the community in her decision to dissolve the KRO and opposed by none. It's disheartening to see that anyone here would prefer a couper over a native who is on the other side of the R/D spectrum. You would think you would have learned more from the NPO/NLO coup, Ravania, but I guess lessons are quickly forgotten in NationStates. Edited by Cormac, Jul 13 2015, 09:58 AM.

I was a citizen of Osiris, I liked the fact the KRO was dissolved. I loved the anarchy. OFO couped the anarchy before it got a chance to prove its worth. That's my point of view. You can have yours but don't sell it as the truth. |

Yeah, Figs might have "couped" the KRO but she never ejected loyal citizens purely for their R/D alignment and she never called them worthless trash to be taken out. |

You can't coup an anarchy, Ravania. I'm going to note the irony of people who enthusiastically participated in a regional government that "ejected loyal citizens purely for their R/D alignment" complaining about it being done to them elsewhere, and move on. Edited by Cormac, Jul 13 2015, 07:10 PM.

I never tried to participate in Osiris, as I figured it would be unstable or volatile. |

Didn't one happen after the other? I wasn't very active at the time, so I might be mixing things up. |
