Funkadelia for Delegate

Hi.

I've been delegate of the region before, of course under the People's Republic. Now that we have a new Constitution, I believe I have what it takes to be the Delegate of Lazarus again. I helped fight the recent coup and implement the new Constitutional law in Lazarus. I have also run the LLA before, and run the Cultural district of the region. I will ensure, under the new form of government, that Lazarus maintains an open and democratic form of government, and one that is much less cloaked and byzantine than the People's Republic was. I will not allow Lazarus to be as inactive as it was under Stujenske's abortive delegacy.

I am not very good at writing opening posts for campaign manifestos, so if you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask them.

What are your foreign policy goals for Lazarus? Do you want to reaffirm relationships with old allies, or at least the ones that came to our aid? Are there any particular regions you view as potential partners, either culturally or militarily? Are there regions you feel we should stay away from?
I hope to grow some existing and start new relations with many regions.

I was hoping to have another cultural exchange with The North Pacific once both of our elections wrap up, and I believe closer relations with regions who were instrumental in our liberation are in order. When I was Chairman, I privately sought relation with Texas. I know that they are generally negative towards any GCR relations, I figured I'd give it a shot. They were totally cool and respectful, and while they were generally receptive, I do believe they ended up tabling discussion internally. I hope to also have closer relations with regions like Taijitu and other defender regions.

I believe in (more or less) of a clean slate after this transition. I am not going to say off of the bat who we should not seek relations with, but if regions who were previously hostile with us continue to be hostile, I will take action accordingly.

Hi Funk :) I'm so glad you have decided to run, you would definitely be a great Delegate but I would like to ask some questions.

1) You say your a hands off Delegate, don't you think you may be forced, at times, to be more hands on especially with region's current need for a clear leadership and direction?

2) What would your agenda regarding World Assembly Affairs be?

3) Bringing RP to a region is no easy thing. Will you be committing to help build up the regions culture during your tenure? How will you promote Roleplay throughout Lazarus?

4) You have also expressed your desire to bring more individuals to the forums during your tenure, how will you accomplish this? How effective is your method,if you have one, and will you attempt to use methods that are effective in other regions?

3) Bringing RP to a region is no easy thing. Will you be committing to help build up the regions culture during your tenure? How will you promote Roleplay throughout Lazarus?

4) You have also expressed your desire to bring more individuals to the forums during your tenure, how will you accomplish this? How effective is your method,if you have one, and will you attempt to use methods that are effective in other regions?
1) Of course. What I meant by that was that in general, I tend to give bigger objectives and ask that they are done by my ministers. Of course there will be occasions where I enact initiatives or make decisions myself. That is the nature of being delegate.

2) I don't have an agenda. I never saw value in encouraging regional droves of GA and SC authors. However, if that is something that people would be interested in I would be willing to do somehing to that effect.

3) It takes quite a bit to build an RP world. I will be trying to put as much time in as I reasonably can to introduce and improve RP in the region. RP does not necessarily need promoting. The idea is that it simply remains active by people posting in it. I suppose I can simply urge people to participate, but I don't think mass campaigns necessarily work for roleplay.

4) For starters, I have a regional telegram currently running when people join/are refounded, asking them to join the forum. This is a basic form of asking people to join the forum. I also plan on approaching people on an individual level to join the forum and become involved. It is a difficult thing to do, especially in a sinker, but I plan on doing all that I can.
