Posts: 861 Group: Accused Member #7 Joined: Apr 8, 2015 Alignment Lawful Good Military Stance Neutral Political Views Independent Nation in Lazarus Lazarus CoS	Fellow Lazarenes For 16 months I have served in the government of Lazarus, starting in The People's Republic of Lazarus as The Chief of State Police. My beginning here dealt in security and I liked the job. Honestly, I rather liked the security aspect. And so I'd like to serve in that regard at a higher level as your Vice-Delegate. More than half of my 22 months in NS have been used serving the region of Lazarus and I say that with pride. It would be an honor to serve the region again, this time as Vice-Delegate. I've never been a Vice-Delegate or a delegate before, especially for a GCR. However I have spent my time in NS gathering experience in as many fields as possible - military, foreign affairs, culture, internal affairs, judicial and legislative. I've even built and run my own region before with some success. I firmly believe I have what it takes to be Vice-Delegate, to be YOUR Vice-Delegate. I've been preparing for such a job, for all this time. My loyalty to Lazarus has never faltered, never faded, even during the coup I was ready to fight for as many months as it would take to restore Lazarus. So I ask you, will you let me be your Vice-Delegate? Alternatively, if it should come to pass that I don't emerge victorious in the Vice-Delegate election, I would be equally honored to serve as the Speaker of the legislature. Admittedly, of all the fields I've taken part in, legislation is my weak point. I served well as a senator in Renegade Islands and created the structure with which it operates. I served as Speaker in The Rejected Realms as well. My experience in legislation is not by any means outstanding, but I firmly believe it is adequate. I am prepared to serve as Speaker if you so desire it. I only ask that, with the approval of my fellow Lazarenes, you consider me. Edited by The Church of Satan, May 15 2015, 08:44 PM.

Lazarene Posts: 987 Group: Members Member #85 Joined: Apr 22, 2015 Alignment Lawful Good Military Stance Neutral	Since you would be the first Vice-Delegate under the new constitution if elected, you would have the opportunity to set a sort of precedent for the future. Do you envision the role as being more than just the duties outlined in the constitution? A mouthpiece for certain issues or something like that? Is there anything in particular you would like to do with the post?

I intend to help the ministers in any way I can, naturally I would be ready to help the delegate whenever I can. I'd also like to begin a Mentor program in Lazarus, which we had lacked in the previous government. I've had a lot of success as a mentor and Lazarus could really benefit from such a program.

I'd have to say it's maintaining the community. Seeing all of the people coming to the forum and getting involved with the government and forum has blown me away. People like Courlany & Loftegen come to the forum too, has greatly humbled me. I want to keep that going and make it even better than it is now. Not just forum-side, but in-game as well, because it's also an invaluable part of the Lazarene community. Culture quite honestly is what I'm good at and if I can utilize that to help this community grow bigger than I have ever seen it, I could be happy knowing I saw Lazarus at one of the most, if not the most active, that Lazarus has ever been. Now that doesn't mean I'll neglect other areas of the region. Like I said previously, I wanna get involved in every facet of this region.
