Allow me to address this.
Both Bears Armed and Goldenson are against the-false-liberation and for the refound, Knot's lies were apparently confusing enough to mix-up their thought processes. If you reread the thread you will find that what they said supports this.
I don't actually see those, I see Goldenson's support but I don't see Bears Armed's support. Mind quoting it here?

Sorry, my apologies; I thought I saw a post where Bears Armed supported the refound, I can now see that I saw wrong. The point still remains that the SC proposal to liberate California is filled with blatant lies, and we urge you to not support it.

He posted as two different nations in the thread.

He's never explicitly supported the refound, but one might expect he would because he was banned by the original raider force.

It's clearly a bad faith proposal by the banned for cheating player and still proud member of DEN; General Knot. However that doesn't mean that people aren't going to support it, honesty you guys have really dropped the ball by not providing more evidence of the "native consultation" that was done. Besides that horrid poll that just turned people against you.

Just my 2 cents.

I am suprised there wasn't an anti-approval campaign for his proposal. I underwent one with my first proposal because a liberation needed to come to vote first, and it's difficult to get any more approvals once the messages have been sent.

We will not unilaterally break the privacy of telegrams. The natives sent us these telegrams under the assumption that those communications were private. It is not our place to go out and publish them. And since they cannot be reached because they haven't even seen the proposal yet, they can't consent to publishing those tgs.

... not to mention the operational details contained in such TGs.

There was. It didn't stick.

I'm sorry to hear that. It felt like I looked away for a bit, and came back to that proposal being 12 approvals away from vote, so I assumed there was no attempt.

Fair enough :)
Still, the point about privacy still stands.

I am immensely glad to see that the Sovereign of Lazarus has cast her vote against this proposal.
