The military

I fully intend on still having a military for Lazarus when we are through rebuilding.

There are two contentions, in my mind, for the military.

We could keep Lazarene Liberation Army. Despite being the Communist style military (based off of the Chinese People's Liberation Army), the argument for keeping it is that it is literally the army that liberated Lazarus, and it has historical value in that regard.

On the other hand, the last time we had an undead/underworld style theme, the military was the Undead Hordes, which sounds totally bad ass and jives with the theme.

Do we want this in the Constitution even?

Discuss.

It wasn't just the LLA that fought for its home though, but Lazarenes themselves. That's the way I see it anyway.

Don't underestimate the part of the LLA, not only by numbers but also by alliances.

Well, aren't the alliances with Lazarus, not the LLA?

Well, aren't the alliances with Lazarus, not the LLA?

Of course, but the LLA is the military that has worked hard over the past two years and a bit to build the bonds that have made those alliances strong. Alliances aren't just what's on paper, but the actual bonds between regions. Those bonds are formed through cooperation, not treaties.

I agree that the LLA should absolutely be retained. While Lazarenes did fight for their home whether they were in the LLA or not, the contribution of the LLA is undeniable and it's basically the only part of the PRL that did what it was supposed to do. That should be rewarded with a place in the new Lazarus.

I would like to see the LLA continue, for many reasons already mentioned.

I also remember how horribly inactive the undead laz armies were :P

Don't blame the undead for the neutral stance of the former horde which was mainly why it was inactive! :p

That said, I do realize the LLA has become a but of a trademark so if we're still going defender (which I hope we are since I think it had already been incorporated into our culture) then LLA would fit just fine.
