Both an open legislature of all citizens and an elected one have been proposed. What do people prefer?

I personally am in support an open one. I have found in my personal experience that they do a better job of getting people directly involved in a region's governance.

I favor an open legislature. Not only does it make it more democratic, but the average new citizen may participate in legislation discussion and have a say in the vote instead of waiting on a semi-oligarchy - which, in my opinion, is vital to keeping activity present on the forums.

A unicameral open legislature, for largely the same reasoning others have already said.

Open encourages much wider participation and interest in things happening. Bicamerals are slow and complicated and often inactive.

I am trying to think of a single successful bicameral legislature in NS and none come to mind :P

Of course, we could be the first ;)

Europeia has bicameral, no? I think their lower house is not very active though.

I support an open legislature over an elected one in NS any time. It brings activity, people can participate in the government, and it increases democracy. An open legislature is bad in RL though, because open legislatures like an NS design are not designed for today's countries. In that case, I support an elected legislature in RL, but never in NS, given the few people here.
