Remember when Lazarus was the Emerald Sinker and wasn't communist? Not saying it's bad now that both viewpoints are vying for the communist theme or anything, was just trying to remember back when Laz's colors were green.

I think Emerald and/or PRL are things of the past. Lazarus needs a new theme and some updates to its laws (to prevent coups) to boot.

I'd suggest looking up the word Lazarus and finding the most consistent theme the Internet gives for the word. (Except Dr. Who. Please God don't do Dr. Who.)

Well of course Lazarus itself comes from Lazarus, the dead man whom Jesus brought back to life in the Bible. So if a Promised Land theme is your thing, then go ahead.

Otherwise, some suggestions of mine are: Japan (Shogunate, Sengoku, army would be Samurais), the French Revolution (no reign of terror pl0x), Elder Scrolls (Why not?), Imperial Russia (Tsar of Funk), Middle East (Sultan of Swing!), and maybe even Communist China! Wait...

Although, I definitely wouldn't mind a native American theme. The Incas of Lazarus? That's the tune I'll march to.

Regardless of the theme, I think we're all in agreement that the laws need to be greatly democratized. I have been drafting some ideas that I intend to bring forward for discussion when the Chairman election has concluded.

As for the theme, I had actually once gone through the thought process of Promised Land -> Sumeria -> Morrowind.

I still think we should make an amped up throwback to the underworld theme.

But what underworlds are there? I love the idea of a Sumerian one, Gulliver. Sumeria, Babylonia and the Assyrian Empire, aka Mesopotamia. The army would be made up of Enkidu Warriors, and each 'district' would be named after cities, like Akkad, Ur, Dur-Kurigalzu, Assur, etc. We could even do what Osiris does and dedicate subforums to various Gods.

In the longer view of history Red is only a blimp in a history of Green.

It'll be a shame to let all this taint the use of Green.

I may or may not be introducing a proposal to change back to green later on.
