So, I thought I would post a brief intro for those of you who don't know who I am.

I'm Viktoria Gryfynn, former delegate of Lazarus who was thrown out around 4-5 years ago by certain members of the region for not being a defender, along with other members of the then Emerald Counsil.

I have a pretty long ns history, was founder of The New Inquisition which is pretty much a closed region now due to inactivity and the fact that I quitt ns a couple of years ago when my daughter was born.
I'm semi active in the LKE at the moment which was kind of always my second ns home and place holding the TNI nation.

rl-wise, I'm Australian but now live in Sweden with my husband and our 2 year old daughter. Love reading, listening to and playing music, write music reviews whenever I have spare time which is almost never and I speak 6 languages. I'm a democratic socialist and an atheist.
any other things you feel you need to know, just ask :)

Great to be back.

Welcome back! Sweden and Australia, from my little knowledge, seem to be very different in climate...which has the nicer weather?

Also, can you go into further detail as to who wanted you ousted from the region and why?

It depends what you want from your surroundings really. australia has pretty much a 6 month long summer, and where I used to live you could also order a side order of bushfire fun. I really am not in to sweltering days, so Sweden suits me fine. We have an almost 8 month long winter, and I prefer it that way. You know where you stand clothing-wise with a cold day.

Okay I am probably not going to remember all the facts here. Killer Kitty and Funk might be able to help out where my memory fails me though. After I had been invited to come to Lazarus and actually join the region, it pretty much became my second NS home. I cared about Lazarus because it was actually fun to be here. It let me experience a side of gameplay that I hadn't ever actually experienced before, namely being part of a GCR. Northern Chittowa convinced me that what he wanted for the region was that it be a neutral place that was largely unaffected by the invader/defender divide. KK was in his government then I believe, so from what I remember I ditched the invading force and helped NC hold the region instead and that's how I ended up getting involved here. I ended up rising to the delegate position with the support of both raiders and defenders in lazarus and we kept trying to build on the idea that lazarus would stay completely neutral. We toyed with a lot of ideas from having a military that did both raiding and defending to
not having one at all. The important thing to me though was that both sides of the spectrum would be welcome to take part in lazarus, so long as they weren't forum destroyers or anything like that.

Anyway to cut a long story a little shorter, members of the PRL who were the precurser to the celestial alliance or whatever it is called basically decided they wanted Laz to go completely defender and have more control over who was allowed in. that meant expelling several members of the Emerald Council as it was then called, banning people from the regional forums and ejecting them from the region, eventually.
We were not tried. I was accused of attempting to coup the region, and the evidence given however was a conversation between myself and the founder of the UDL, which was a defender group who were concerned about the coup as much as I was. If my actions were undemocratic simply because I sort a way to stop the coup from happening then so be it, I am not sorry I tried to fight for my position here. The PRL brought in outsiders to take power from the people who had already been here quite some time, assisted by those natives who believed in their cause rather than a neutral Lazarus.

Just curious, but why do you feel more comfortable to come back now?

A lot of the regional restrictions of that era ceased to be in-effect post NLO, including the one that banned you.

Kind of an almost accident really. I rejoined NS properly a few weeks ago and was informed of the situation in Lazarus and I brought back my old WA delegate nation to see what would happen.

Llamas response to my return was to accuse me of being NES and to tell me to go home, and as Funk's idea seems to be something much more akin to what the region was rather than the gfroup that had me banned, I feel it's something I can support.

I've really missed the game and would like to be part of a region rather than working on rebuilding my own, so hopefully I can find something to do here.

Llamas, could be a bit odd.

I don't know whether it was me, or just Llamas finding something else to do, maybe didn't like this Llama song I posted:

I'm glad to see someone come back that seems to truly want to help improve and grow Lazarus!

I think that llamas song is brilliant. we should use it more.

My strength lies on the cultural and regional activity field, so depending on what the region needs in that regard I'd be more than happy to start doing things to help out.
