It has been blatantly apparent the last several months that our region has been stricken with discrepancies, ambiguities, and just all around problems regarding our Mandate. Over the last week or so that has been taken into account via a discussion on direct reform, or rewriting, of our constitution entirely. This is something I would like to address before the Council, so that we may collaborate and swiftly decide what we are to do. There is no question that we need some sort of action to rewrite our Mandate, but this presents quite the crossroads for our region, especially considering the recent events regarding the coup conspiracy. Multiple people have proposed a change in theme, perhaps even a reform to the structure of the region. I know a lot of us have ideas, but in the end we certainly need a plainly written, efficient, and effective constitution so that we do not run into the multiple issues we have recently again. Talk. |

You'd think we'd have gotten the hang of writing Mandates after 10 attempts. |

Considering the Incumbent delegate just took a shit on the mandate and on all our laws, this is kinda weird... |

Literally all actions that have been taken have been in direct correlation and in abidance with Lazarene law. You feel free to spew your farce elsewhere or you can actually contribute to the discussion. |

I'm formulating some wider changes to make with our laws, but I would love to hear some opinions from some others in this very important discussion. |

Actually, this is great. I'm glad to see someone bringing it up. I'd say everyone in Lazarus can agree that the current constitution is an overly complicated and rather obscene mess. Simplicity is what I feel we should strive here for. Looking back on previous threads, I very much like the proposal Amerion recently offered up. I'm also working on a potential Mandate right now, something in a similar vein to what the Council had recently been discussing. |

I am glad to see you guys bringing this up, and I want to be here to rebuild. But- didn't Aumelodia and Amerion and them try to get talks on revising our Mandate going? And you shut them down. What makes this one different? |
