Currently Guardians, having no specified endorsement count requirement elsewhere, may only maintain the same number of endorsements as regular citizens; namely, 20 below the DoTR. They also could legally have, say, 5 endorsements, which of course would do no good in a security position. This would allow them to maintain any number of endorsements up to (but not above) the DoTR's, and a minimum of half the Sovereign's, which is in fact the requirement to apply for Guardian. |

Support. Although it'll mean I have to tart better Doesn't it so the guardians don't go past. Also, didn't we have a law for this already? It seems to me like we did. |

The problem is I think we thought we did but we didn't actually The only law about Guardians' endorsement counts we have is in the Guardians Act which just specifies to apply for guardian they have to have at least half the Sovereign's count. |

What happens if the DotR isn't endotarting? If this had been law previously, virtually all Guardians would have been in violation of it. Related, what happens if a DotR is newly-elected and needs time to get to a decent endorsement count? |

Currently, you are the only Guardian who has a legal endo count. If the DoTR isn't tarting, then why are they even DoTR in the first place? How about this:

That's a valid question, but we can't assume voters will demand the DotR to be active and tarting...they haven't necessarily done so in the past. What about an alternative limit in the event that the DotR has so many fewer endorsements than the Sovereign? |
