Lamb has applied to become a Guardian. His application can be found here. This application will be open for discussions lasting a minimum of two days. Upon the completion of this time period, members of the Cosmic Council may motion a vote and second such a motion, which will then be brought to a vote. Edited by Tom, Jul 10 2017, 07:27 PM.

As I said in my application thread, given my current RL situation and what has grown into a vehement commitment to this region, I would be truly honored to serve as one of our Guardians. I have worked tirelessly to help improve the region, and though some may not always agree with me on my positions, I feel that I have helped Lazarus progress a lot with my ideas and pushes towards reform where needed. Additionally, I am incredibly active on the forum and ingame and very effective when it comes to endotarting, as well as observing the activity and WA members of the region. I mean, I was within the top ten of endorsements after only like a week of tarting I think. My time of R/D is pretty much at its end due to just not being able to commit the time, which is why I have been WA'd in Laz for a couple weeks now. Anyway, I'm open to any questions anyone may have regarding my application. Thanks! Edited by Lamb, Jul 10 2017, 08:00 PM.

Could you please provide a detailed summary of the organisations, regions, etc, that you have been part of? |

I fully support Lamb's application. He has been a strong force for keeping activity up in the region, and his extensive R/D experience goes hand in glove with regional defense and influence in times of need. He would be a good addition to this group. |

Sure you've been relatively active over the last few months but why should we trust you with the security of the region? |

Sure thing. Have been a part of is quite the thing, given the latest nation I have access to is Lamb Stone founded in '07. With regular bouts of inactivity here and there throughout the years, because I was 13 when I started this game, I never really held any significant place in any region I was in other than LWU which I joined some time in 2008. I never really branched outside of raiding much, despite my adolescent attempts, until I came back to the game a little over a year ago after a couple year stint of just casual check-ins and keeping nations alive. Since my return, I joined TGW which I was a leading member of for about six months until departing from R/D for a bit and eventually returning to LWU. As it currently stands, I am only significantly active in the following regions, though there may be some that I'm a citizen in but don't really take part in: Lone Wolves United: As I stated, I originally joined in 2008 as a really lame brat. Currently I am basically co-leading the region. Because of my inability to really update anymore, my place there is really working internally and helping it get back on its feet (which has been a slow moving process as of late). The West Pacific: I think I officially joined a few months back, but was decently casual about my presence there. After their constitutional reform, I became a little more active in the region and lately I've been actively working to help their legislature procedures and processes, as I genuinely enjoy the community there and a lot of the people. The other one would be Lazarus of course. I have recently applied for citizenship in a region called Asgard, as I gained an interest in their theme and structure, but as of right now, I don't have a huge amount of time to get involved anywhere more than I already am and they are still kind of getting off their feet so my involvement is pretty much nothing and am unsure if it will ever become something. |

I haven't just been active the last few months; I have invested a significant amount of my personal time and time in NationStates towards bettering the region as a whole. I think this is apparent through my work in the Cosmic Council and now as a member of the cabinet in trying to organize and develop a foundation for our region to recover off of. Trust is nothing someone can convince someone to give, it has to be earned. I would like to think that despite some differences, I've been a productive part of Lazarus for the better part of my time here and have been adamant about improving our region in every aspect that I can with the time I have. I personally am more prone to trust those who act more for the benefit of all than for themselves and I believe I have accurately embodied that during my stay here in Lazarus thus far. Beyond that, my qualifications and experience as a player in the NationStates game itself exceeds most others' and I believe that I am fully capable of successfully handling the important responsibilities that go along with being a Guardian of the region. I hope I've answered your question! Edited by Lamb, Jul 11 2017, 04:31 AM.

Since you've applied for the position, is that meant to imply that you believe you've proven your loyalty, your commitment, to Lazarus and this whom reside within it? |
Lamb | Jul 11 2017, 04:52 AM Post #9 |

Aye. On a side note of considering the meta of me as a player in general, I wouldn't WA-lock myself indefinitely in a region if I wasn't absolutely, totally committed and loyal to it. I think my hard work, activity, and push towards progress and helping to rebuild Lazarus is a clear reflection of this fact. I would not apply for this position frivolously, just as I refrain from doing so in any position I take in any region or any stance I make that I believe is in benefit of a region. There is no implication; it is merely a fact that I am loyal, committed, and have spent way too much time in this online browser game specifically focused on bettering our community here. A community that I hope to serve and protect. Edited by Lamb, Jul 11 2017, 04:53 AM.

I support fully this. Lamb has done a great deal for the region, and is both dedicated and active. I believe he will make an excellent Guardian of Lazarus. |
