As Archbishop of the Exterior, I am charged with guiding the Foreign Affairs of Lazarus. It's come to my attention that Foreign Affairs has been conducted poorly at times in the past. I am releasing this statement to give you all a better idea of what my plans are to conduct Foreign Affairs properly and in a way that benefits us just as much as it does the regions we have ties with. First of all, I want to set the tone for our region's Foreign Policy: Strength, and independence. For too long Lazarus has suffered from inactivity and instability, two common issues among Sinker communities. This has not done our Foreign reputation much good, and our ties have steadily decayed because of it. We have, during this period of weakness, been taken advantage of by the outside world. Even embarrassed on the world stage as the Black Hawks manipulate our Delegacy. This needs to end, and it ends with this administration. We are a GCR, and a proud one at that. Lazarus will choose it's all allies embassies with care, not liberal peacocking of embassies. The following list lays out a few guidelines thatl embassy applicants should check out from here forward: The new minimum regional population to be considered for embassies will be 100 nations, or a population within reasonable range of fluctuation. Any regions that are connected to Nazi or Fascist organizations in NationStates may be denied outright. Proper Conduct is expected from any region who applies for an embassy. We will be checking WFEs and RMBs for vulgar content and this will be noted when considering you for an embassy. The Embassy list will be reviewed regularly by the Exterior. If embassies are found to be inactive or unnecessary, they may be closed. If your embassy with Lazarus is closed, you must reapply for another. This list applies to Embassies made after its posting. While the guidelines set a rough precedent for embassies that we are interested in, each one will be considered on a case-by-case basis Edited by Ark, Apr 28 2017, 04:01 AM.
