Lars Braken of TFL's Regional News Service (RNS) with today's update! As of today's date, April 9th 2017, The Forgotten Lands is still in a veritable cold war with the Rhydnian Hegemony and the military alliance of nations that benefit from said nation. Following last year's battles on the small archipelago of Karthay, there have been many concerns rising from the spread of ill will into non-aligned nations of the region. Adding to the mix of this, is the rise of the Cthulhu cultists who have successfully summoned a primordial key-scion. This has led to an outbreak of conflict between the now empowered Cultists and the Grand Duchy of Havasu, who happens to be next door as it were. Several nations have taken an interest as well as participating against the cultists. However, where one snake rises up, how many other places have they infiltrated is the topic on many of nation governments. Furthermore, and back to the Hegemony, it would seem they are acting in the shadows. Whispers of a summit of powerful figures, but as of yet, no conclusive proof can be had. Only time will tell. In lighter news, word of diplomatic events has begun to trickle through as sources acknowledge the presence of high ranking individuals at several locales. Siltrin Calussai is apparently hosting the Regent Lord Aytep Hiendor and Lady Mierin Batory Hiendor of Renor Xukuth, while at the same time, the Northern Takhisian Territories are hosting a summit meeting that has drawn the interest of several of the region's powers that be. Also word is that The Asahi, will also be hosting a diplomatic summit, and amongst the guests present, a rare figure is rumored to be among those attending, the Emperor of Haruspex. As the leads develop, we here at RNS shall keep you updated!

Various nations are holding meet and greets, possibly to enliven their nations up a bit with potential trade and military treaties. As of today's date, June 23rd 2017, The Forgotten Lands is playing host to a series of diplomatic events, however one is currently standing out amongst all the others. Through The Looking Glass That's right, the Primarch's have made the forbidden city of non-humans open to the region at large and bid several of it's former residents and or enlightened savages back to parlay for peace and prosperity. Many of the powers that be shall be in attendance, as shall the Regional News Service to ask delegates questions and address concerns over current events within the realm at large.

Lars Braken of TFL's Regional News Service (RNS) with today's update! As of today's date, July 8th 2017, The Forgotten Lands is seeing intrigue and world building development. In the scope of intrigue, there are rumors of houses loyal to the Lordess of Sloth in the lands of Nocticula, breaking off formal contact with the central government and an imminent civil war developing. Further yet, the Old One Cultists have apparently summoned a primordial key, diluted down to the humanoid form and are currently empowered by it/her? to find artifacts of power around the region. A small scale war in the Havanni territories is already in motion between well armed cultists and the local military forces. Trade News- As the union-dynasty between Renor Xukuth and The Batorys continue under the guise of Aytep Il'a Hiendor and Mierin Batory, the newlyweds that have brought two massive empires together, a new trade has opened it's doors. The nation of Kheleguria specializes in kelp/seaweed agriculture and has embarked upon a ten year contract with the nation of Xukuth, of which shall then send such shipments to the underwater colonies that shall come under administration of The Batory clan and their associates. In diplomatic news- The Asahi Kingdom announced that several powers that be will be arriving for talks and other things. Rhydin is sending an officer of prestige to represent them, and the isolationist Haru, of Machina Haruspex, is confirmed as attending. Through The Looking Glass As usual, the TFL-RNS shall continue to watch developments within the region.
