Chairman Funkadelia?!?! WTF? Past light bulbs. Funk is referring to the "glory days" of the People's Republic of Lazarus, a past theme that was very successful until a coup in April of 2015. This region had a Maoist Communist flavor for a long time, and it worked for that community. I found it very off-putting myself, and was looking at [region]Osiris[/region] when I resurrected here a little more than a year ago. The Humane Republic still had some stylistic elements of the PRL, whereas Osiris (Egypt and the Cats go back a long way) seemed a better fit. But the Constitution here offered a path to residency without swearing to obey the law (I still have a bad taste from that experience in [region]The North Pacific[/region]) whereas [region]Osiris[/region]'s did not. So [region]Lazarus[/region] seemed like a good place to park whilst I search for a better region. Good thing, as Tim, Saq and Cormac couped Osiris a few weeks later. There's lots of room here for anyone to make this region into a good home for themselves. All one has to do is start building, and ignore the naysayers. Indeed you are most correct comrade. The People's Republic of Lazarus and its sister the South Pacific Socialist Republic both exist because of the bravery and self sacrifice of the Glorious Chairman Milograd. The Minnows are only free today due to his prudent guidance and infinite wisdom.
