🌺 His Divine Eminence Posts: 584 Group: Accused Member #495 Joined: Dec 20, 2016 Alignment Lawful Good Military Stance Neutral Political Views Independent Nation in Lazarus Aumelodia Discord Somyrion#8047	Office of the Convenor Current Convenor: Svezjacael Current Deputies: Vacant Code of Conduct Official Guidelines: Officials of the Office of the Convenor shall refrain from putting their own motions to vote, or scheduling a vote on a motion they seconded unless the motion has sat for more than six (6) hours without a vote being scheduled. Officials of the Office of the Convenor shall not under any circumstances schedule a vote on their own confirmation to another position in government (Guardian applications, LCA Commander positions, Archdioceses, etc.) Officials of the Office of the Convenor shall not go inactive for more than seven (7) days without giving notice to the Convenor. Any Deputy that goes inactive for more than twenty-one (21) consecutive days will be relieved of their position. Unofficial Guidelines: Try to check the Council once a day. If you notice anything's not done, you're allowed to do it. Log on to your Lazarus nation every once in a while-- I may communicate with you via TG. Don't be afraid to ask me any questions! It's what I appointed you for. For votes, try to keep a similar format to what we've been using for the past couple of months-- (i.e. relevant text is quoted, a link to the discussion is provided, the length of the vote and how citizens may vote is plainly laid out, and if applicable what threshold a vote needs to pass.) Feel free to copy+paste anything you might need as a template. Citizens should feel free to use this thread to bring things to the attention of the Convenor. Élien H. They are responsible for putting up and closing votes in the absence of the Convenor, and should have a good knowledge of the function and procedure of the Council.

I have some experience in running legislatures and parliamentary procedure as I was a Deputy Speaker and interim Speaker in the NSG Senate (now just the Senate), however given that I already have a high-ranking government position I don't want to occupy a position that could otherwise go to someone without a government position at the moment, i.e., the 13th.

I do intend on running for Convenor here soon. Been pretty much leading discussion and progress on getting our Mandate and laws fixed the way we want it and have pushed through a lot of legislation the last month +. I'm also that guy who always pings you to tell you to do things, annoyingly lol. I have a great understanding of how our processes work, as I've been analyzing and critiquing it for awhile now. I'd like to appoint Lamb as Deputy Convenor. Atlantica, unfortunately per the Mandate Article 5 Clause 6, you're not permitted to be a deputy while holding your Archbishop position. However, I look forward to hearing your legislative experience in the Council Same with you, The13th, I look forward to working with you more and helping you learn more about the Council and how it works!
